REVISED VETERINARY IMPORT CONDITIONS
With effect from 1 July 2024 AVS has revised its veterinary conditions for the import of dogs and cats into Singapore. The new vet conditions categorize countries into Schedules I II and III according to their rabies risk status replacing the previous classification of Categories A B C D. AVS will be accepting both the new and old vet conditions for a 6month period from 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024. However from 1 January 2025 onwards AVS will only be accepting the new vet conditions. Please refer to the AVS website avs.gov.sg for details on the changes and to determine whether you require a quarantine reservation at the Animal Quarantine Centre.

Limited Availability of Quarantine Space for Dogs and Cats
The Animal Quarantine Centre is currently receiving high number of applications for quarantine space. The earliest date of availability is as follows For Dogs August 2025 onwards. For Cats November 2025 onwards. We would only be able to accept applications to reserve a quarantine space for dates for the mentioned periods above. Requests to reschedule existing reservations or other urgent requests will only be considered if space is available e.g. due to others cancellation and the necessary import veterinary conditions are met.

Reservation of Quarantine Space
Please be informed that booking of quarantine space is on a first come first served basis. Our system will indicate the nearest available dates from your preferred date of arrival. We are receiving high volume of imports and the facility may get fully booked. Do book in advance to avoid disappointments. To avoid delay in the processing of applications, please attach the required documents. Please ensure that you click the submit button. Applications in draft status will not be received. Thank you.
